My stay was great here. I loved the quiet atmosphere. The most important was the staff - friendly and very attentive people. The hotel had nice styled rooms and comfortable beds. Really enjoyed a tub in my private bathroom.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the outdoor swimming pool at this marvelous hotel. It was like diving into a refreshing oasis on a scorching day, just what I needed! The pool was sparkling clean and surrounded by a picturesque garden, giving it a tranquil and serene ambiance. It felt like a hidden paradise in the heart of Puerto Escondido.

gallo de mar was the perfect getaway in puerto escondido. the top floor room had a terrace with a daily breeze. the outdoor kitchen had all the cooking tools we needed. the staff was friendly and the location was just right, close to the main street and beach.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with beautiful traditional Mexican elements and cozy seating areas. As a senior woman, I appreciated how the general areas were easily accessible, making it effortless for me to navigate around the hotel and enjoy its lovely ambiance. It was a delightful experience to sit in the comfortable chairs, surrounded by lush vegetation, and watch the hotel's adorable pets playing around.

The only thing that could have made the vacation for senior people even better would be if the children working there had provided some assistance with carrying luggage.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The top-floor room with the terrace was spacious and had a daily breeze. The fans helped with the heat. The shared outdoor kitchen was well-equipped and had a fridge. The staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. The hotel's location was just right, being a couple of blocks from the main street and beach. The hotel facilities, including the lovely pool area, were clean and comfortable. We also loved the bonus of the two cats, Som and Capitan, lounging around.

The private terrace with hammocks and ocean views was a perfect spot to relax. the communal kitchen was convenient and the "lobby" area had plenty of seating. the friendly dogs and cats added to the welcoming atmosphere. the location, just a few hundred feet from the ocean, couldn't have been better.

We had an amazing time at this hidden oasis called Gallo De Mar. The hotel is a quiet and beautiful place to relax, with a pool surrounded by palm trees and comfortable lounge beds. The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with good internet access. The location is perfect, close to the beach and restaurants in Punta. We will definitely come back.

Lovely property, like a tropical paradise! Super cheap for such splendor. The owners are friendly and always ready to help. Communal kitchen is well-stocked. Close to shops and beach, can even hear the ocean from the balcony. Perfect!
